Any member of the public may be buried, or have their ashes interned, within the cemetery, although the fees charged by the parish council will be tripled for those who did not reside in Shilton or Barnacle.
The cemetery is located between St Andrew’s church and Shilton garage, and has very limited car parking on-site. Visitors are encouraged to use the free public car park further along Church Road (in the direction of Ansty) and then walk the short distance to the cemetery.
The cemetery is managed in a sensitive and dignified way, which acknowledges the needs of the bereaved at what can often be a very difficult time.
